  • 8 three-day experimental courses attended by 4 students to selected topics in laboratories of the Research Training Group (starting in 2009)
  • Opportunities to attend external courses (EMBO, FEMS, FEBS)
  • seminars and practical courses on new developments in microscopy organized by OLYMPUS
  • 1 x 1-3 months exchange with a cooperating laboratory of the Research Training Group to extend experimental skills and learn corresponding techniques
  1. Braulke/Storch: „pulse-chase“-labelling and immunoprecipitation of Golgi-proteins
  2. Saftig/Schwake: subcellular fractionation, cell adhesion assays
  3. Gilberger: GFP- and immunofluorescence-tracking of anterograde transported proteins
  4. Glatzel: methods of antigen retrival for immunohistochemical stainings
  5. Aepfelbacher: „Live cell imaging of bacterial invasion/phagocytosis
  6. Kutsche: analysis of receptor-mediated endocytosis of fluorescently labeled transferrin
  7. Kreienkamp: demonstration of effectors of small GTPases by overlay assays
  8. Heeren: analysis of lipoprotein receptor-mediated endocytosis
